Design Team Challenge for November

The DT Challenge for this month is to use the products in the kit to create 'Scrapbooking off the page'.  By this I mean is no 12" x 12" layouts but anything else goes.  They have been asked to keep card creations to a minimum and use their creative skills to come up with ideas for crafters to make either gifts or home decor projects using patterned papers and cards.  They have also been given a mini 'project' in the form of some Tando Creative chipboard.  Each DT member has something different to make.

Each DT member also has different patterned paper collections to showcase.  Jaqi has the gorgeous Authentique 'Wonder' papers, Julia the equally gorgeous Prima 'North Country' range and Jules the brand new Authentique 'Gathering' collection.

Jaqi will be the first one to showcase her first creation on Monday - remember to pop back to see what she has been busy making!  What do you like to make with your patterned papers and cards?  Have you plans to make any home decor and gifts for anyone this Christmas?  Leave a comment on today's post and if you qualify, I will enter your name into the blog candy draw.  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Afternoon Ann, This year all my nearest and dearest is going to receive a hand crafted gift, I'm making storey books, dommino books, little scrapbook kits for the younger ones, but have to think of something for the men lol.....

PS, Thanks for my Blog Candy, off to play now hee hee

  2. Hi Shelagh - that sounds like a lovely idea. I think a lot of people are turning to hand-made items this year. It's what people used to do years ago before Christmas started being all commercialised. Now if I can just figure out how to make a 'Blackberry' (phone)...... Ann x

  3. Hi Ann i make little gifts for my friends 5 of us share an appartment for 1 week every Dec in tenerife. I like to make mini books boxes small wall hangings and always have to have something to hold a choccy bar, so most days they get a little surprise.

  4. I am going to make any occassion cards, 6 in a set and make a box to keep them in until use. I will give them as gift to friends and families. I also make a wreath every year for the front door to greet people when they come over for the holidays.
