Peek A Boo Emma

This month's Scrapaholix Club kit technique is using brads with spacers.  Not a new technique but back to basics!  The patterned paper in the kit is from We R Memory Keepers 'Good Day Sunshine' range.

I used white cardstock as the base and using a Tando Creative Butterflies Mask (available from The Scrapbook Garden shop) and a Ranger Dye Ink Pad in Soot, inked the butterfly images onto the cardstock.  I added a spacer and brad in the centre of each butterfly.  Using the same Butterflies Mask I cut out a butterfly from one of the patterned papers and added a spacer and brad as before.

I scraplifted this design from this month's Scrapbook Magazine (page 21) but used butterflies instead of flowers on my layout.  Instead of using a pearl swirl I inked a swirl using a template and just added black pearls on the curves of the swirl to accentuate.  The title is made from American Crafts DIY Thickers, which were inked in the same black Ranger ink and the mini alphabets are from Prima.

If you leave a comment on this post today (and you are a follower) I will enter your name into the draw.  Another layout using the remainder of the kit tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by today.
