August Kit: sneaky peek 2

Another sneaky peek from this month's Mad Scrappers Club Kit.  The kit consists of patterned papers from Fancy Pants 'What a Wonderful Day' range, along with co-ordinating cardstock of Fire Hearts, Candle Glow and White.  The technique this month is using cork - shapes (arrows from Fancy Pants) and cork sheets (DCWV).

The rosette looks like it is made from cork but it is actually from a strip of one of the patterned papers (aptly named 'Strips') and co-ordinates very well with the other cut out shapes from the cork sheets.

Another layout that will be fully revealed next week after the club on Wednesday.  A week to go ladies - see you all then.  Thanks for stopping by today - please leave a comment so that I know you have passed by this way and for a chance to be entered into the blog candy draw.

  1. I'm glad you said the rosette wasn't cork cos I was just about to gush about how clever you are to get cork to fold like that. Those strip papers are a perfect match though. A great combination

  2. I thought I had better say that from the start as they do look so like I made them from the cork (not that clever!). Ann x
