Mad Scrappers Layouts: April

It was the first (of two) Mad Scrappers Club nights last night.  The kit this month contains patterned papers from Bazzill (Vintage Lace), co-ordinating Bazzill cardstock and a shimmer spritzer in gold.

There was lots of activity and cutting out of circles (and fingers - mine... ouch!) and spraying with the spritzer.  Most of the ladies hadn't quite finished their layouts so I will leave them to show next time.  Joanne managed to create two pages for her 'baby album':

Joanne used Bazzill Passionate cardstock for the base of this layout (which she sprayed with the gold spritzer) and added different sized circles using the patterned papers.  She also used stickers from the same collection and a Prima Lace Sticker.  A really pretty 'girly' layout.
Joanne also created this cute layout using this month's patterned papers (again cut into circles), along with the Bazzill Vintage Lace Stickers.  Joanne was thinking of adding some small buttons to the centre of the circles (if she does I will show you the revised layout).  Two lovely, cute layouts Joanne - thanks for sharing with us.

Gillian completed two more pages from her brag book (an ongoing project) using some of the patterned papers from the kit along with other papers from her own stash.  Brilliant photographs!  Thanks for sharing Gillian.

I have some club members layouts from last month and will share these over the next couple of days.  Please leave a comment for the ladies.  Thanks for stopping by today.

  1. Another great nite at Mad Scrappers. Lots of circles cut out and finger in some cases.

Lovely L/O's Joanne and Gillian xxx.

  2. Love the layouts....particularly like the use of circles!

  3. Hi Jan - it still hurts! x

Hi Karen - not one bauble in sight! x

  4. Love the way the ladies have used circles. Very effective. Those spritzers are great but I remember covering everything the first time I used one. Ah well, you can't have too much bling. Pink and gold, what a lovely combo

  5. They do tend to go everywhere but I was prepared by covering a table with a plastic bin bag and then loads of newspapers. There does tend to be a lot of waste - shimmer going onto the stencil in places you don't want it. The results are lovely though.

  6. Had a fab evening but shame about your poor finger Ann x

  7. aah!! so cute LO's... love these!!
