Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!  Halloween is celebrated on 31st October the day before the Christian feast day of 'All Hallows' or All Saints Day.  Halloween can be traced back about 2,000 years.

The paper manufacturer I associate with Halloween is Graphic 45.  Over the years they have come up with some fabulous designs for their Halloween ranges.  This year's range is called 'An Eerie Tale' and I found this gorgeous Halloween themed house by Laura Denison on the Graphic 45 blog.

Look what it is like inside:

Isn't that just fabulous!  You can see more images on the Graphic 45 blog HERE.  If you know of anymore facts about Halloween, leave a message in the comments box. Thanks for stopping by today.  I will be back tomorrow with the blog candy draw.  Good luck to those who have entered.

Layout: Twas the Night......

I love this year's Christmas range from Graphic 45 called 'Twas the Night before Christmas and couldn't keep my hands off these gorgeous patterned papers any longer!  I wanted to create a layout using an old photograph of my two girls but I think I must have scrapped all suitable photos already.  I did however, find this photograph of two of my Granddaughters (taken the night before Christmas in their new PJ's).

I used 'Twas the Night Before Christmas patterned paper as the base (and of course gutted out the middle), to which I added  (reverse side) of 'Bundle of Toys'.  I then layered up with tags and journal cards from 'Up on the Housetops'.  The large Santa and clock faces are from 'Jolly Old Elf' and the smaller Santa is cut from 'Bundle of Toys' patterned paper.
The complete Graphic 45 'Twas the Night before Christmas paper range can be found HERE.  I know some of you are not in 'Christmas mode' yet but it is only 8 weeks away (just thought I'd let you know!).  Thanks for stopping by today.

Kaisercraft: North Pole

I recently added the fabulous Kaisercraft 'North Pole' Paper Pack to my online shop.  I have been having a nosey around the Kaisercraft blog and found these gorgeous creations, made with patterned papers from this range.

Linda Eggleton created this beautiful layout:

And what about these lovely cards created by Alison Bevis:

You can view the Kaisercraft Blog HERE.

I have the Kaisercraft North Pole Paper Packs in stock HERE.  Fabulous value - 12 sheets of double-sided patterned papers AND a Sticker Sheet for only £9.99!

If you are going to the Ross Papercraft Show on Sunday (2nd November), remember you can order online at and pick your order up at the show.  When you check out remember to choose 'pick up at store' option, which will take off the postage costs.  This option is only valid for customers picking their orders up at the show.  Thanks for stopping by.

Layout: Come Away with Me

In a recent workshop with members of our Mad Scrappers Club, we created an 8x8 Graphic45 Easel Album using an 8x8 G45 'Come Away with Me' Paper Pad.  I also stock this fabulous paper range in 12x12 size and decided to create a layout using some of this range.

I used a photograph of myself and DH at the start of a Baltic Cities Cruise in 2007.  I used part of the patterned paper as my title (Come Away with Me) and cut out journal cards and tags from another sheet.  I used foam tape on the tags and journal cards to add some depth to the layout as well as inking and distressing the edges of all the patterned papers.  I used a small Tando Creative chipboard compass as an embellishment, which I painted with a Tim Holtz Distress Paint Dabber (Antiqued Bronze).
This paper range is perfect for all travel layouts and can be found HERE.  The Tando Creative chipboard compass can be found HERE.
Just a reminder that this month's Scrapbook Challenge will close on 30th October 2014.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Kaisercraft: Paper Packs

I recently added Kaisercraft to the catalogue of manufacturers I stock.  I have so far only bought individual paper sheets, but I have now added some of their 12x12 Paper Packs to that list.

North Pole is a young, on trend collection that has it all. With its fusion of Christmas patterns and on trend colours that are just as delicious as Christmas Day itself.

The Pitter Patter Boy Paper Pack is perfect for those adorable Baby Boy layouts, cards and projects.

The Pitter Patter Baby Girl Paper Pack is just perfect for scrapbooking those precious Baby Girl moments, or creating gorgeous gifts.

All these packs include 6 different patterned sheets of 12x12 double-sided patterned papers (2 of each sheet), PLUS a bonus Sticker Sheet.  That's 12 sheets of patterned papers and a Sticker Sheet for £9.99!

I also have ALL 3 of the new releases in November (can't show you until 1st November though!).  Not long to wait ......

I have also added Gayle's and Linda P's entry into the Scrapbook Challenge on the sidebar.  That's 10 entries each into the draw for this month.  Thanks for stopping by today and have a lovely Sunday.

More October Kit Layouts

More from Wednesday's Mad Scrappers Club today.  If you popped by yesterday to see this blog post, I was AWOL (again!).  This time doing a very important role of child minding my youngest Granddaughter who had an extra day off school prior to next week's half-term holiday.

Up first today is two layouts from Linda S., using this month's Mad Scrappers Kit that contains gorgeous patterned papers from Kaisercraft 'Rustic Harmony' range, coordinating Kaisercraft Cardstock and a Kaiserfusion Marker Pen.

I love the photographs that Linda has chosen for this lovely layout, each in their own individual frames (coloured with the Kaiserfusion Marker Pen).  Love the Prima arrows that connect the photographs and draw the eye around the page, and telling her story through her journaling card - perfect!

Linda used the Fuzzy Peach and Steele Cardstock and a journaling card from the kit for this layout but I love the personal touch of that fabulous 'Wonkas Golden Ticket' with that fabulous photograph - class!

Finally, for today is Karen F:

Karen used the 'Rustic Harmony' Euphoria patterned paper as the base for this layout depicting her hubby's flying lessons.  Love the title 'Via Air Mail' and the addition of the 'plane (from Graphic45 Come Away with Me range).  An eclectic mix of patterned papers but they work - great stuff Karen.

Thanks for sharing with us ladies.  Thanks for stopping by today - have a lovely Saturday.

Mad Scrappers Layouts: October Kit

Another good night with our second Mad Scrappers Club of this month.  The kit this month contains patterned papers from Kaisercraft 'Rustic Harmony' that went down a treat with the ladies.  Some stunning layouts created - great job done by all.

First up today is Beryl (with two layouts):

These patterned papers were just made for this fabulous photograph!  Lovely job with colouring in the white Prima flower to coordinate with your layout.

Another beautiful photo choice to go with these equally beautiful papers (that no-one wanted to cut up!).  Love the addition of those butterflies - fab!

Next up is Anne D:

Another gorgeous photograph choice Anne.  Love the swirls and flower (coloured with the Kaiserfusion Marker Pen).

Finally, for today is Eileen's creation:

Eileen used a Tando Creative chipboard frame (coloured with a silver paint dabber).  Another gorgeous photograph used!  Love the swirls (coloured with the Kaiserfusion Marker Pen).

All stunningly gorgeous ladies - thanks for sharing with us.  Thanks for stopping by today.  I will be back with more from our Mad Scrappers tomorrow.

Layout: Enjoy Life

It's our second Mad Scrappers Club of the month tonight.  Looking forward to meeting up with our second group of club members.  We will be creating with October's Kit of Kaisercraft 'Rustic Harmony' patterned papers, coordinating Kaisercraft Cardstock and a Kaiserfusion Marker Pen in Peach.

I have created two layouts with this kit (already shown) but I created another layout as another option for our club members.  It is based on the layout (shown previously) by Anita Bowndes (showcased on the Kaisercraft website).

I used 'Peace' patterned paper for the base (gutted out the middle) and layered with Kaisercraft Ivory Cardstock.  I layered up pieces from Peace, Enchantment and Euphoria patterned papers, to create my version of the original design.  The tiny paper hearts (used as confetti) are the remnants from the die cut doily (never waste anything!).

Thanks for stopping by today.  Don't be shy, please leave a comment.  If you are a blog follower, I will enter your name into the blog candy draw for this month.

Layout: Live a Beautiful Life

This is the second layout I have created with this month's Mad Scrappers Kit.  The kit contains patterned papers from Kaisercraft 'Rustic Harmony' range, along with coordinating cardstock and a Kaiserfusion Marker Pen (Peach).

For this layout, I used 'Peace' patterned paper and layered this with Ivory cardstock and the reverse side of the 'Peace' patterned paper.  Again, I die-cut a doily (cut it in half) and added it under my matted photograph.  The journal cards are from the 'Enchantment' patterned paper.
I added a Prima Flower, some die-cut swirls and a gem swirl (coloured in with the Kaiserfusion Marker Pen).  Another easy layout idea for this month's kit.
First (of two this month) Mad Scrappers Club nights tonight - see you all later.

Layout: Live, Laugh, Love

Using this month's Mad Scrappers Kit of Kaisercraft 'Rustic Harmony' patterned papers, Steele, Ivory and Fuzzy Peach cardstock, along with a Kaiserfusion Marker Pen, this is the first layout I have created.

I used Kaisercraft 'Rustic Harmony' Euphoria as the base (along with some Steele cardstock behind it).  This patterned paper was too gorgeous to cut up, so I just distressed the edges, coloured in some of the butterflies and added doilies (die-cut from cardstock and patterned paper), journal cards (also distressed the edges) and added a Tando Creative Chipboard Frame to my photograph.

I die-cut and punched out some butterflies, to which I added some tiny pearls (coloured by the Peach kaiserfusion Marker Pen).  The zipper embellishment is also die-cut from the Steele cardstock.

I'll be back tomorrow with another layout to share with you.  Until then, thanks for stopping by.

Bazzill Chips

I got some Bazzill Chips in stock recently.  They are not a new product from Bazzill (seen nothing new from them since AC took them over) but are perfect for that little extra touch to your Christmas projects.

Bazzill Chipboard Tags: Snowflake

Bazzill Chipboard Tags: Tree

Bazzill Chipboard Tags: Stocking
There are 3 pieces per pack and each tag is cut from sturdy chipboard and has a piece of Bazzill White cardstock mounted on top.  The Tags can be used for gift giving, Christmas ornaments, scrapbook page layout embellishments, cards and more.

I managed to get these at a special price and they are in the shop for £1.10 a pack.  You can find them HERE.

I'm doing my hardest to get you all in the 'Christmas' mode!  I don't think I'm winning though!  See you back here tomorrow when I will be showcasing this month's Mad Scrappers Kit.  Until then, have a lovely day.
