Color Lab DIY Paint Kit

Look what has just been released from Marion Smith Designs - the Color Lab DIY Paint Kit.

This is the advertising blurb:

"This pigment paint system is truly unique. Add the Color Lab pigments to water, paint, glazes, multimedium and several other mediums to make custom colors. This kit includes 5 pigment paints, 3 micas, measuring spoon, 3 - 2oz bottles with trigger sprayers that have a locking function, and a recipe card to mix your own spray inks. The pigments alone are enough to make up to 30 bottles of spray inks compare that to most spray inks on the market that cost anywhere from $5.99-$7.99 and you will really get a bang for your buck! No more searching for just the right color medium, make it yourself when and where you want! "

Well what do you think?  Would you buy this?  Would you use it?  Leave a comment to let me know.

Mad Scrappers Club is tonight (last one of this month and this year!).  We will be back in the New Year though with more fabulous creations from our club members.  See you tonight ladies - looking forward to it.

  1. This looks interesting although it would of course depend on the price. I am trying to use up some of the myriad paints, inks, etc that I already have. It sounds good. Colour mixing can be fun. Hugz

  2. I think it may be a bit pricey for some people but I thought it looked interesting so shared it with you all. x

  3. lol Karen - just up your street! You were missed too. x

  4. They look like fun, I have tonnes of pigments and ink, always have room for more though!

  5. I think they look like fun too - will have to check out the minimum order on this one! x
